We all are seeking our separate paths to salvation, but we are not ALL thinking like Antebellum Slave Owners.

As a 75 year old white male, who was raised as a Military Brat and is considered to be a Third Culture kid (check Wikipedia for definitions), I am offended.

I was raised in mixed race environments and have never intentionally suppressed non-white individuals. That statement was below your normal standards. You could even classify it as racist. It tainted my reading of your article.

You missed the whole point. The thought process of Antebellum Slave Owners has been fused with American thinking. It's there and you don't even recognize it.
