Give Thanks for People of Honor, Integrity, Courage, and Compassion

Today, I would like to give thanks to all the people of honor, integrity, courage, and compassion, who have stepped forward in these trying times. There are those like Fiona Hill, who speak truth to power, in spite of the potential consequences. There are those, like Scott Warren, reach out and help those in need, again, in spite of the potential consequences.

Where are the Christian communities calling out for the end of the separation of children from the families? I am thankful for those, like attorney Jodi Goodwin, who are working to reunite children with their families. With her, I call out for the separations to stop, not for them to increase.

I give thanks for Navy Secretary Richard Spencer, who fought against corrupting influences and continues to speak out against corruption. It is because of people of honor, like him, that our military still remembers that it does not belong to Donald Trump.

Finally, I give thanks to God that I was born in a nation that was founded on the principle that “ All men are created equal” and has a GOD-GIVEN right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. May we all stand together, as a people of honor, integrity, courage, and compassion, to defend those rights.

Let us as a community, rebuke all those who are calling out for us to hate each other and give thanks that some still remember that being legal is not the same as being moral.

May God have mercy on us all.
